10th Anniversary of first Red Orkestra concert

Friday 27 December, 2013 marks the 10th anniversary of the first Red Orkestra concert. Played at the El Mocambo in Toronto, bands on the bill that night included Neil Leyton, Devin Stoneham, Kevin Quain, Mike Farrell and other members of the Fading Ways Records community. The Red Orkestra line-up that night included Johnny Charmer (of course),  Leyton (on bass), Stoneham (drums) and Ian “Loaf” Woodward (guitar) of Pariahs fame. Originally billed as “Johnny Charmer and the Red Orchestra”, the band moniker would take on its current form with the release of the first album, “After the Wars” the following spring.
